SNA (STUDENT NURSES ASSICIATION OF INDIA)
The SNA unit of the college strictly follows the bye laws of Trained Nurses association of India. It aids in the comprehensive development of the students by providing opportunities for curricular and extracurricular activities and by encouraging their activities beyond the four wall walls of college and extending their services in the community.
OBJECTIVES
- To uphold the dignity and ideals of the profession.
- To encourage leadership ability of the students.
- To involve the students in intercollegiate sports and cultural activities.
- To improve social contacts to enhance professional contacts of the students.
- To promote the participation of students in community activities.
COLLEGE UNION
The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences and college union functions as per the bye-laws of the college students union of the university.
OBJECTIVES
- To train the students of the college in the duties, responsibilities and rights of citizenship.
- To promote opportunities for the development of character, leadership, efficiency knowledge and spirit of service among the students.
- To organize debates, seminars, work squad, torus and similar other activities.
- To encourage sports, arts and other cultural, educational and recreational activities that are incidental and conductive to the above objectives
- To work for general welfare of the college and to support every activities proposed by college or university like student support and guidance programme.
SSGP (STUDENTS SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE PROGRAMME)
VISION
The SSGP provides individualized counseling for personal, career and academic information, activities and instruction designed to acquaint students with career options; exposure to cultural events and academic programs; mentoring programs.OBJECTIVES
- To equip new entrance to become confidential professionals, to overcome academic learning related difficulties, they face during initial period of their graduate health science course.
- The emphasis given in this programme is focusing on holistic development of student.
SIGNIFICANCE
- To address the academic, psychosocial and health related issues& stress among students.
- To improve overall performance of students.
